Everybody feels stressed and anxious from time to time. A certain level of stress is normal and can even help us go about our daily lives. Sometimes, however, being stressed for a long time can lead us to unhappiness and may even lead to depression.

The HSE South’s Farm & Rural Stress Helpline 1800 742 645 was established as a practical response to help address the issue of loneliness and isolation experienced by people living in rural areas in Cork & Kerry. The helpline is open daily from 6.00pm – 10.00pm and is staffed by professionals who offer callers a listening ear, support and advice in complete confidence. If you feel things are getting on top of you, then call the Farm and Rural Stress Helpline. We are here to listen and to help you find solutions.
