Grundtvig Postcard Competition

“Food is Garden Edible”

 

IRD Duhallow received funding through Léargas to run a Grundtvig Programme with 5 other European countries: Slovenia, France, Hungry, Germany and the UK. The aim of the project is to learn and experience how individuals and community groups are motivated by growing their own food and to share best practice by engaging the wider community to grow their own . In order to promote the programme in Duhallow and with our partner countries we are organising a postcard competition. The caption for the postcard is Food is garden edibleThe competition is open to individuals living in the Duhallow area. The postcard could be anything from a photo to a drawing or painting, the size is to be no bigger that 6x4”, it can be in colour or black or white. The best three entries will be judged by IRD Duhallow and the postcards will be taken to Slovenia in April where they will form part of an art exhibition.  The prize for the winning postcard entry will be to take part in one of the European visits to a partner country. Entries can be forwarded to Katie Crowley, IRD Duhallow, James O’Keeffe Institute, Newmarket, Co Cork on or before the 2nd April  please include the flowing details on your entry:
