The North Cork Childcare Network are looking at delivering Mini Me Yoga, which means that your staff will be able to deliver Kids Mini Yoga in your playgroup setting saving you the cost of hiring in outside tutors. A full pack of yoga cards will be provided for delivering in your own centre.

Title: An Introduction to Yoga and Positive Thinking for Children – A Workshop for Parents, Grandparents, Childcare Providers and Teachers.
In this 2.5-hour Mini Me Yoga workshop, parents, grandparents, childcare providers and teachers learn simple techniques for introducing 15 minutes a day of kids yoga and positive thinking to children using games and exercises designed to make it fun.
No experience with yoga is required! It’s fun for anyone.
Participants will learn
· Breathing
· Mediation
· The benefits of yoga
· Plus, at least 14 yoga poses.
It’s action pack and full of information as well as practical tools. An easy 15 minute a day program that is suitable for at home, in preschools, primary schools or community based groups. You will receive a pack of Magick Yoga cards and continued support from your Mini Me Yoga Cork Ambassador. It is an interactive workshop so be prepared to have fun! Participants are asked to bring a bottle of water and it is advisable to wear comfortable clothing. A pen and paper may be advisable if you wish to take notes. A summary and a certificate of attendance will be given to you at the end the workshop. Yoga mats are provided by the facilitator.
This course is CPD certified which means it can go towards your continued professional development.
